How dancing turned from a hobby into a life business

Worked with various famous brands (Walkswagen, Citroen, Jaguar, L'Occitane cosmetics, Tuborg, Huawei, Bubble Run, etc.) and singers, as well as in nightclubs, theaters, show ballet, as a solo dancer and as a guest choreographer and teacher in dancing studios in Ukraine and in the following countries: China (2014-2019 Beijing, Nanjing, Haikou, Beihai, Taishan, Hangzhou, Kunming, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Shenyang, Changchun, Zhongshan, Changsha), Georgia (2019-2020 Tbilisi), Vietnam (2020 Ho Chi Minh), Turkey (2020, 2021 Antalya, Bodrum), Germany (2021-2022 Darmstadt, Frankfurt), Austria (2022-2023 Graz, Vienna).

In ballroom on the mainstream scene I'm the mother of the Ukrainian chapter of The Iconic House of Mizrahi. I have the experience of participating in a huge number of balls (by the way, and teaching) in different countries of Asia, Europe and in USA, I feel the ballroom culture more deeply and am a full-fledged part of it. All my grand prizes are for my favorite European Runway, Femme and Sex Siren. Although I went out and like to watch different categories, I love the vibe at the balls and I am sure that it depends on my support too, because the real ballroom is, first of all, the community.

Since 2009, I have been teaching modern street and club dances (hip-hop, dancehall, house, jazz-funk, vogue, high heels), I am developing myself in the style of Vogue and started promoting ballroom culture in Kyiv in 2012. During these years, I realized that no matter how well I understood other styles, my body wanted to dance feminine dances. I studied with the pioneers of various dance cultures, as I consider it important to acquire knowledge from various sources, and especially from those who started certain dance trends.

Heels as a direction in my dancing life came very organically - along with working on heels in nightclubs, where I had to dance on dangerous and uncomfortable stages with complex choreographies that did not involve such shoes. On stage, artists should always look stylish and elegant, so movements from other dance directions had to be adapted to shoes with high heels. And then, as usual, it was interesting to dig deeper and find out, distinguish, learn specific techniques, which today are the basis of Hills as a separate dance style. More and more master classes from experienced teachers from different countries with parallel teaching of analysis of the basics helped me raise my level even higher, as evidenced by the reviews of happy students and impressed viewers.

Dancing has been an integral part of life since childhood, and with each important turning point, I thought that this was the end, that a childhood hobby could no longer have a place in a serious adult life. But during his studies at the university and after his graduation, more and more unexpected offers appeared that could not be ignored. Even today, dancing is what gives me the opportunity to be myself, to distract myself from negative emotions or live them in the dance hall or on the stage.

I love when people hear me in my classes and immediately turn on. They try something new, even if they already know enough! More than once I have been told that I explain things very accessible to newbies. But, developing myself, I understand how much you can still invest in yourself! And that is why it is invaluable to see the development of others, and even more experienced ones, who come to my classes and take something new for themselves.

Everything in life is possible if you sincerely believe in it
